The Coach House is a wonderful two bedroomed property situated right in the centre of the pretty medieval village of Tremolat. Just 15 minutes from the Dordogne River, The Coach House is the perfect location to see the delights of the Dordogne, offering a tranquil escape for a relaxing holiday.
The Coach House is a recently refurbished old farmhouse built from traditional ancient stone like so many buildings of the area. Situated in the pretty village of Tremolat just 15 minutes from the Dordogne River, this lovingly finished holiday home is full of charm and character. The house has been renovated to a high standard offering luxurious accommodation with a real home from home feel, perfect for 4 guests. There are two bedrooms, a king size and super-king size which can be configured as a twin room each with their own en-suite bathrooms. Spacious and comfortable bedrooms offer a really calming and relaxing space to unwind after a busy day exploring.
The large kitchen dining room is a great space for entertaining with a huge antique refectory table, perfect for fabulous dinner parties. The wood burner in the lounge provides a cosy retreat on those cooler evenings. There are plenty of books to get stuck into, why not enjoy reading one by the welcoming swimming pool at the end of the pretty gardens.
The location couldn't be better with a local bakery just a short walk away, ideal for picking up delicious breads and pastries each morning. There is a bar and cafe close by in the village where you can just watch the world go by and a Michelin star restaurant for those special occasions.
Both bedrooms have large storage cupboards and comfortable double beds with king size duvets. For your comfort we offer 100% Egyptian cotton bedding. House and pool towels are also included.
The garden is fully fenced for privacy and there is a dining area and barbeque. There is a gated entrance to the pool and sunbathing area. The pool is for the exclusive use of the guests in the Coach House.
Once a week a small market takes place in the square where you can stock up on local delicacies like cheeses, vegetables and strawberries. Foie gras and truffles are a gastronomic delight in this area of France and local shops are bursting with treats to entertain your taste-buds. There is so much to do in the local area, from wine tours to chateaux to hot-air balloon trips. The Dordogne region, rich in history is a truly exciting area to explore, the local towns with historical buildings nestled into the hillsides of the river are definitely worth a visit.
